Office/Accounting Manager, Donna Hendrix joined Meridian Realty in 1997 and has worked in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, Property Management and Development as well as commercial and residential construction for over twenty-nine years.
Donna’s job includes accounting management for both the brokerage and property management divisions. Her responsibilities include all accounting aspects and monthly financial reporting to the owners of the multiple properties managed by the property management division as well as full accounting services for the brokerage company. As Office Manager, Donna is responsible for personnel management and making sure the office runs smoothly day to day.
Prior to joining Meridian, Donna worked for ten years with a Commercial Developer/Property Management Company as Office Administrator and Project Accountant which included supervision of the office, employee development and related benefits. She prepared and administered tenant related matters including lease preparation; coordinate tenant move-ins and construction improvements with other divisions of the company, as well as with joint venture partners and lenders. She was also responsible for origination of monthly financial statements to management for approval and analyze yearly budgets for cost margins and exemptions. Other duties included all facets of accounting and construction project draw request.
Donna’s commercial and residential construction experience includes office administration, which involved construction scheduling, obtaining building permits, job cost verification as well as accounting and financial preparation.
