Heather Fann has managed more than 60 Homeowner, Townhome, and Condominium Associations in her career. Her time as an Association Manager also included being the General Manager of an association management company’s regional office where she personally managed 20 Community Associations while overseeing the management of 25 additional communities. Heather has managed capital improvements, reserve planning, budgeting and forecasting, special assessments, contract negotiations, as well as all of the daily operations involved in association management.
In addition to her role as a Community Association Manager, Heather has been involved in the creation of approximately 25 community associations and served on the Board of Directors of many of them while working closely with a management company. Further, Fann has taken many classes offered by, and been active in, the Community Associations Institute, including teaching courses to Boards of Directors.
For four years, Heather served as the Executive Director of a national non-profit organization that provided support to our military personnel. In this role, she sought volunteers, raised awareness, planned events, solicited donations, and acted as a professional advisor on all aspects of the organization’s daily operations.
Currently, Heather is working to obtain her CMCA designation, an accreditation of distinction for those in community association management.
